Our Network
Alongside our participant network, DCE works with public-sector partners, cycling networks and international knowledge institutions that strengthen our work in different ways. Their contributions range from funding and joint programmes to knowledge exchange, capacity building and access to local networks. Together, we connect Dutch and international expertise, translate knowledge to local contexts and use cycling to support healthier, more liveable places and stronger international cooperation.
The DCE works closely with several parts of the Netherlands government:
The International Cargo Bike Festival is a global platform for cargo-bike innovation and exchange. Our collaboration strengthens international connections and knowledge sharing.
Tour de Force brings together Dutch governments, businesses and knowledge organisations to strengthen cycling policy. Our collaboration connects this national network with international developments and experience.
Utrecht Bike Community connects businesses, knowledge institutions and public organisations around cycling innovation in Utrecht. Together, we link regional expertise to international networks and opportunities.
The University of Kassel is an associate partner of the DCE. Our collaboration connects research, education and practice in cycling and sustainable mobility.
The European Road Safety Charter is a European Commission initiative uniting organisations committed to improving road safety. As a member, DCE shares Dutch cycling knowledge and good practices to improve road safety across Europe and beyond.
